Creating your first offer

1. Open Smart Upsell → Offers → Create offer.
2. Choose the offer type:
   • Product upsell — recommend a related product
   • Bundle — offer a discounted product bundle
   • Free gift — add a free item when a threshold is met
3. Configure the trigger (product, collection, cart total, or all orders).
4. Set the discount (percentage, fixed amount, or no discount).
5. Write the offer headline and optional description.
6. Click Publish.

Placement options

Placement	Where it appears
Cart page	Above the checkout button on the cart page
Post-purchase	Immediately after the customer completes checkout
Product page	Below the Add to Cart button (requires theme app extension)

Enabling theme app extension

For product-page placement, enable the Smart Upsell block in your theme:

1. Go to Online Store → Themes → Customize.
2. Navigate to a product page.
3. Click Add block → Apps → Smart Upsell.
